With more than 35 years of business experience, I bring together financial expertise, commercial judgment, business ownership, valuation, business broking and education to help business owners make better decisions.

As an FCPA, Certified Practising Business Broker (CPBB), Registered Business Valuer (RBV) and MBA, I work with business owners, boards and professional advisers across a range of commercial matters including business performance, valuation, succession, acquisitions, business sales and strategic decision-making.

My approach is practical and commercially grounded. I believe good advice should not simply explain the numbers… it should help people understand what they mean, what matters most and what action should be taken next.

Business Advisory & Fractional CFO

I work with SMEs and not-for-profit organisations that require experienced financial and commercial support without necessarily needing a full-time CFO.

This can include financial performance analysis, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, strategic decision support, business improvement and providing an independent perspective on important commercial decisions.

My background across accounting, engineering, business ownership and advisory work allows me to look beyond the financial statements and consider the broader operational and commercial factors affecting performance.

Business Valuation & Business Broking

Helping business owners understand, build and ultimately realise the value of their business is an important part of my work.

As a Registered Business Valuer and Certified Practising Business Broker, I provide independent business valuations and assist owners through the business sale process, from preparation and valuation through to negotiation and completion.

I also work closely with accountants and other professional advisers who require independent valuation support for their clients.

This combination of valuation expertise and transaction experience provides practical insight into both what a business may be worth and the factors that ultimately influence value in the marketplace.

One of the consistent themes throughout my career has been the ability to explain complex financial and business concepts in a way that people can understand and act upon.

Whether I am advising a business owner, presenting to a board, working with an accountant and their client, or teaching university students and business professionals, my objective is the same… to make complex issues clearer and support better decision-making.

Education & Professional Leadership

Alongside my advisory work, I have taught accounting, finance and business at university level for more than 20 years and continue to deliver corporate training and professional development programs.

My involvement with the profession also includes service as a CPA Australia Divisional Councillor, reflecting my ongoing commitment to the accounting profession and the development of future business and finance professionals.
